Contract Details: EYAKTEK, Dulles, Va., was awarded on Sept. 21, 2009 a $6,358,753 firm-fixed-contract. This contract shall provide all required design, hardware, software, equipment, installation and testing to meet the following requirements. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a need for technical reach back support required to meet operational requirements in the regional operations management war rooms. In the event of a catastrophic national emergency there is a need to be able to propagate policies and guidelines down to the district offices in order for them to initiate their contingency plans. These plans may include redeployment of personnel/equipment to respond to the emergencies at hand: to this end we will need to upgrade all high end USACE regional operations management war rooms. The required war rooms will support all headquarters facilities in the 8 divisions with a direct connect Teleconferencing system to President, Congress and all major Armed Forces. Work is to be performed with each task order with estimated completion dates of Sept. 27, 2010. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Research and Development Center, Vicksburg, Miss., is the contracting activity (W912HZ-09-C-0115).
