Contract Details: McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $14,922,151 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee/cost reimbursable contract to exercise an option for engineering, maintenance and manufacturing labor in support of F/A-18 flight test programs conducted at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., depot level efforts, basic aircraft maintenance, and fabrication of unique replacement parts. Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md., (95 percent) and China Lake, Calif., (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in September 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-06-C-0075).
