Contract Details: Harris Ranch Beef Co., Selma, Calif., is being awarded an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract on Dec. 3 to provide fresh and frozen beef and pork products for resale at 13 commissary store locations throughout Korea, Japan, Okinawa, and Hawaii. The estimated award amount is $42,911,609. Contractor will deliver fresh and frozen beef and pork products to the store locations as needed. The contract is for a two-year base period beginning Jan. 9, 2011, through Jan. 5, 2013. Three one-year option periods are available. If all option periods are exercised, the contract will be completed Jan. 2, 2016. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Forty firms were solicited and seven offers were received. The Defense Commissary Agency, Resale Contracting Division, Resale Service Support Branch, Fort Lee, Va., is the contracting activity (HDEC02-11-D-0002).
