Contract Details: Alliant Techsystems, Inc., Defense Electronics Systems Division, Woodland Hills, Calif., is being awarded an $8,958,217 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for engineering services in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Divisions weapons and energetics research and development efforts for various missile systems, including the Advanced Anti-Radiation Missile, Ballistic Trajectory Extended Range Munition, Multi-State Supersonic Target, and AIM-9 rocket motors. Work will be performed in Woodland Hills, Calif. (65 percent); Plymouth, Minn. (20 percent); and China Lake, Calif. (15 percent). Work is expected to be completed in December 2013. Contract funds in the amount of $128,642 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68936-11-D-0002).
