Contract Details: L-3 Communications Corp., Link Simulation & Training, Arlington, Texas, was awarded a $12,877,622 contract modification. The initial contract, awarded in December 2008, covered 31 months of development for a fully immersive Block 40/50 F-16 Mission Training Center (MTC). Priced production options to buy up to 20 MTCs along with operations and contractor logistics support were also included. The resultant MTCs will network with the other training simulators via the Distributed Mission Operations Network. This modification adds the M6+OPF concurrency update. At this time, $3,219,406 has been obligated. ASC/WNSK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8621-09-C-6292; P00034).
