Contract Details: Intelsat General Corp., Bethesda, Md., was awarded a $142,921,374 firm-fixed-price contract for the American Forces Radio and Television Service Global Satellite Services Program on April 22. The contract, with a not-to-exceed ceiling of $167,500,000 million dollars, provides worldwide commercial telecommunications services to include: C- and Ku-band satellite resources; land earth stations; terrestrial backhauls; and bandwidth management services.
