Contract Details: FLIR Systems, Inc., Wilsonville, Ore., is being awarded a $7,434,530 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N68335-11-C-0212) to exercise an option for 10 Star SAFIRE 380 high definition systems to outfit and enhance the capabilities of the existing Persistent Ground Surveillance Systems that are currently fielded for the Army. Work will be performed in Afghanistan (40 percent); Yuma, Ariz. (30 percent); and Wilsonville, Ore. (30 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2012. Contract funds in the amount of $1,486,906 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity.
