Contract Details: Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $16,159,441 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-07-C-2103) for Reactor Plant Planning Yard services for nuclear-powered submarines and support yard services for the Navy’s moored training ships. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn. (95 percent) and Charleston, S.C. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2008. Contract funds in the amount of $16,159,441, will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
