Contract Details: Honeywell International Inc. of Minneapolis, Minn., is being awarded a contract for $10,000,000. This action will mature the flight subsystems design of the Vision Flight Experiment (VFE) point of departure vehicle, in order to conduct ground experimentation and simulation to investigate the performance and operability of the flight subsystems of the VFE program, and conduct ground experimentation and simulation to investigate the performance and operability of the component Health Management systems associated with the flight subsystems of the VFE program. At this time $140,000 has been obligated. AFRL/PKDA, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8650-08-D-7803, Task Order 0001).
