Contract Details: Honeywell International, Inc., Defense and Space Electronic Systems, Albuquerque, N.M., is being awarded a $21,025,466 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed price contract (N00019-07-C-0014) for the full-rate production of 354 Advanced Multi-Purpose Displays (AMPD) for Lot 32 F/A-18F and E/A-18G aircraft and retrofit of F/A-18E/F Lots 26-28 aircraft, for the U.S. Navy (294 units) and the Government of Australia (60 units). Units being procured include a total of 146 five-by-five inch forward; 100 five-by-five inch aft; 56 eight-by-ten inch AMPDs and 52 eight-by-ten inch AMPD high resolution recorder interface kits to upgrade legacy displays with higher resolution capability will be procured. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy ($17,363,858; 82.6 percent) and the Government of Australia ($3,661,608; 17.4 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Alburquerque, N.M., and is expected to be completed in Dec. 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
