Contract Details: McDonnell Douglas Corp., A Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Co.of Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a contract modification for $11,440,306. This contract modification to the C-17 Globemaster III Sustainment Partnership (GSP) contract to increase funding for FY07 and FY08 Material Improvement Projects (MIPs) for the USAF. The MIP program was established on P00037 based on estimated performance requirements for non-recurring reengineering and retrofit. This estimated annual program does not identify specific MIPs to be performed, just general requirements. At this time $25,000,000 has been obligated. MSW/516 AESG/PK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8614-04-C-2004, P000227).
