Contract Details: Lockheed Martin Aeronautics-Marietta, Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $4,050,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 40 CC-130J aircraft for the Air Force and 20 KC-130J aircraft for the Marines over a period of six years. At this time, $271,600,000 of the funds has been obligated to provide for four KC-130J aircraft for the Marines. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. Negotiations were completed March 2003. This work will be complete by calendar year 2009. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-03-C-2014).
