Work will be performed in Seattle, Wash. (63.8 percent); Greenlawn, N.Y. (11.7 percent); Baltimore, Md. (11.0 percent); North Amityville, N.Y. (8.2 percent); and McKinney, Texas (5.3 percent); and is expected to be completed in May 2015. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air System Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Contract Details: L.C. Gaskins Construction Co., Inc., Jacksonville, Fla., is being awarded $17,998,000 for firm-fixed-price task order #0002 under a previously awarded multiple award construction contract (N69450-09-D-1270) for design and construction of the Mission Support Group Complex at Barksdale Air Force Base. The work provides for the construction of a three story steel frame structure with reinforced concrete foundation, floor slabs, reinforced masonry walls/finish system, sloped metal roof. Wet sprinkler, fire alarm, telephone, and energy monitoring systems are provided for the entire facility. Site construction will include landscaping, parking lot, and access pavements. Project includes demolition of one facility. Work will be performed in Shreveport, La., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 2013. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Three proposals were received for this task order. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southeast, Jacksonville, Fla., is the contracting activity.
