Raytheon Company Integrated System, Tewksbury Mass., is being awarded a $13,142,533 cost-plus-fixed-fee task order #0002 under previously awarded contract (N0014-10-R-0005) for the integrated topside program. Raytheon will design/architect an integrated electronics warfare information operations and line of sight communications multifunction system with 360 degrees of coverage in azimuth for naval surface platforms and subsequently fabricate, integrate, test and demonstrate a single quadrant advanced development model variant of the system to support the technology development phase of a Navy acquisition program. This contract contains options which, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value to $108,563,015. Work will be performed in Tewksbury, Mass. (95.6 percent); Fairfax, Va. (3.41percent); and Fairfax, Va. (0.99 percent). Work is expected to be completed September 2011. The contract will continue through September 2015 if all options are exercised. Contract funds will not expire at end of current fiscal year. The Office of Naval Research, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
