Kenosha Beef International, doing business as Birchwood Foods, is being awarded an indefinite delivery, requirements type contract on Feb. 16, 2011, to provide fresh and frozen beef products for resale at 98 commissary store locations throughout DeCA’s East Region. The estimated award amount is $15,838,065.30. Contractor will deliver fresh and frozen beef products to the store locations as needed. The contract is for a 2-year base period beginning March 20, 2011, through March 23, 2013. Three, 1-year option periods are available. If all three option periods are exercised, the contract will be completed Mar. 19, 2016. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Fifteen firms were solicited, and three offers were received.
