General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $21,133,458 cost-plus, fixed-fee level-of-effort contract for reactor plant planning yard services for nuclear-powered submarines and support yard services for the Navy’s moored training ships. The contract includes options, which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $121,207,572. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn. (95 percent), and Charleston, S.C. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2014. Contract funds in the amount of $16,918,893 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
