Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded $9,818,535 for firm-fixed-price delivery order #2848 under previously awarded contract (N00383-06-G-006F) to purchase blade extenders for the CH-53 helicopter. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn. (24 percent) and Manchester, Conn. (76 percent), and work is expected to be completed by September 2011. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not awarded competitively. The Naval Inventory Control Point is the contracting activity.
