Lockheed Martin Corp,. Mission Systems and Sensors, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $19,781,140 cost-plus-incentive-fee, fixed-fee contract for Aegis Weapon System baseline development, technical support services, supportability engineering, logistics repair support, spares support, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages support, and associated program management to fulfill requirements of the Norwegian navy under the Foreign Military Sales Program. This contract will provide for the next Norwegian Aegis capability baseline, and will provide for operation and maintenance support to a limited in-service support program for the Royal Norwegian Navy Norwegian new frigate Fridtjof Nansen class ships. These efforts also include logistics repair and spare support for Norway-unique Aegis parts, diminishing manufacturing sources/material shortages, configuration management, engineering support, software baseline development/maintenance, and software maintenance management. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $32,894,445. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J. (97.8 percent), Clearwater, Fla. (1.7 percent), and Baltimore, Md. (0.5 percent), and is expected to be completed by July 2014. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-12-C-5102).
