The Boeing Co., Ridley Park, Pa., was awarded on June 29, 2007, a delivery order amount of $6,500,000 as part of a $112,469,971 firm-fixed-price contract for remanufacture of H-47 Aircraft to the MH-47G configuration and an option for additional aircraft. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa. (98.3 percent), and Middletown, Del. (1.7 percent), and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on April 11, 2007. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Fort Eustis, Va., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-04-G-0023).
