The Boeing Co., Ridley Park, Pa., was awarded on June 29, 2007, a delivery order amount of $52,699,408 as part of a $147,271,800 firm-fixed-price contract for remanufacture of H-47 aircraft to the MH-47G configuration. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa. (98.3 percent), and Middletown, Del. (1.7 percent), and is expected to be completed by Aug. 30, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on June 28, 2006. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Fort Eustis, Va., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-04-G-0023).
