Science Applications International Corp., McLean Va., is being awarded a $23,417,711 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) software engineering support to include engineering products related to C4I software applications and databases or database management systems for current and future C4I systems. Technical support will include the full range of software development including system requirements, design, implementation, integration, and documentation. This is one of six multiple award contracts: all awardees will compete for task orders during the ordering period. This three-year contract includes one, two-year option, which, if exercised, would bring the potential value of this contract to $40,113,362. Work will be performed at government facilities in San Diego, Calif. (90 percent), and at the contractor’s facilities in McLean, Va. (10 percent). Work is expected to be completed April 26, 2015. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via Request for Proposal N66001-11-R-0046 published on the Federal Business Opportunities website, and the SPAWAR e-Commerce Central website, with six offers received.
