General Dynamics C4 Systems, Battle Management Systems Division, Scottsdale, Ariz., is being awarded a $41,356,802 fixed-price-incentive contract for engineering development models and developmental testing to support operational testing and a build-to-print technical data package to support Phase 2 of the Common Aviation Command Control System (CAC2S). The contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $61,410,383. Work will be performed in Scottsdale (56 percent); Fulton, Md. (35 percent); Huntsville, Ala. (4 percent); San Diego, Calif. (3 percent); Hollywood, Md. (2 percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2017. Contract funds will expire on Sept. 30, 2013. This contract resulted from a limited source competitive procurement via Navy Electronic Commerce Office, with four offers solicited and four offers received.
