U.S. Tactical Supply, Inc., Albany, Oregon, is being awarded a $6,913,687 GSA firm-fixed-price modification to a previously awarded contract (M67854-07-F-1095) for 60,250 Grip Pods. Grip Pods attach to the forward hand guard of the Modular Weapon System and provides a forward hand-grip with bipod legs integrated into the polymer handle for a stable shooting position. Work will be performed in Albany, Ore., and is expected to be completed September 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
