This IDIQ provides for delivery/task orders to procure research and development, providing scientific and technological solutions to meet the DoDís non-proliferation, counterproliferation, and consequence management objectives. Work will be performed at contractor facilities as well as at Fort Belvoir, Va., with an expected completion date of Dec. 3, 2018 (base period) followed by a five-year option period that, if exercised, will extend the end date to Dec. 3, 2023, but would not increase the ceiling value. The contract has a $100,000 minimum guarantee to each awardee. This contract was a competitive acquisition, and eight offers were received.
