BAE Systems Technology and Services, Rockville, Maryland, is being awarded $8,749,247 for modification P00007 under a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00604-13-C-3000) to exercise option year two for a full range of ordnance handling and management services including labor, materials, equipment, inventory management, transportation, supervision and management to receive inspect, store, issue, transport, load, and manage all types of ammunition, explosives, expendable and technical ordnance material and weapons. Additionally, the contractor shall perform all tasks related to peacetime and wartime munitions operations. If all options are exercised, the total value of this contract will be $43,077,190. Work will be performed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2015. If all options are exercised, work will continue through Sept. 30, 2017. Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $8,749,247 will be obligated at the time of award, subject to the availability of funds. Funds will not expire at the end of this current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce and Federal Business Opportunities online websites, with two offers received in response to this solicitation.
