General Dynamics Information Technology, Fairfax, Virginia, is being awarded a one-year $7,452,144 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for command, control, communications, computers and intelligence (C4I) support in the areas of test and evaluation, engineering, independent verification and validation engineering, software quality assurance, configuration management, and web site maintenance. This is one of nine contracts awarded; each awardee will have the opportunity to compete for task orders during the ordering period. This contract includes one remaining one-year option which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to an estimated $28,699,839. Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 29, 2015. No funds will be obligated at the time of award. Funding will be obligated via task orders as they are issued. The types of funding to be obligated include: operations and maintenance; research, development, test and evaluation (Navy and Department of Defense-wide); and working capital funds (Department of Defense).
