Science Applications International Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $5,768,056 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for RDT&E in Corrosion Science. The work will cover a broad range of RDT&E due to the multi-disciplinary interaction of marine engineered systems with the natural mechanisms, electrochemical systems. The emphasis involves around the design and implementation of improved technology for legacy and next generation Naval platforms. This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $29,842,741. Work will be performed in Washington, D.C. (58 percent); Key West, Fla.
