Raytheon Co., Integrated Defense Systems, Tewksbury, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $33,266,731 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-10-C-5126 to purchase DDG 1000 spares. The purpose of this modification is to add hours for engineering services under contract line item number 0040 and 0041 in support of DDG 1000 Class Zumwalt Destroyers. Work will be performed in Portsmouth, Rhode Island (60 percent); Bath, Maine (25 percent); and Tewksbury, Massachusetts (15 percent), and is expected to be completed by July 2015. Fiscal 2015 research, development, test and evaluation, and fiscal 2015 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funding in the amount of $27,717,758 will be obligated at time of award. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.
