The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Missouri, was awarded a $7,236,020 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for research and development efforts required to demonstrate the integration of the tactical data link, LINK16, including other required avionics changes to accommodate the data link into the radar-production and radar-remanufacture in support of the AV-8B aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri, and is expected to be completed in June 2017. Fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $2,887,705 are being obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1).
