Sierra Nevada Corp., Sparks, Nevada, has been awarded a $12,500,000 firm-fixed-price and indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for standoff precision guided munitions and precision strike system components. Contractor will provide precision strike components and systems to support existing and new platforms and employments. Work will be performed at Englewood, Colorado, and is expected to be complete by March 29, 2018. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2014 procurement funds in the amount of $2,072,210; and fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $2,300,000 are being obligated at the time of award.
