Coulson Aviation USA Inc., Portland, Oregon, has been awarded a $16,419,590 firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursable, no-fee travel and aircraft fuel contract for the HC-130H Retardant Delivery System (RDS). Contractor will design, manufacture, and install a 3,500-gallon RDS for seven Coast Guard HC-130H aircraft that will be turned over to the Forest Service to support their firefighting mission. Work will be performed at Portland, Oregon; and Greenville, South Carolina, and is expected to be complete by Aug. 31, 2019. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition with two offers received. Fiscal 2015 aircraft procurement funds in the amount of $16,419,590 are being obligated at the time of award.
