The McKenna Principals Inc., Herndon, Virginia, has been awarded a $15,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Data Framework and Access Control Enterprise (DFACE) II software. Contractor will provide design and develop an operational prototype capability that will enable Department of Homeland Security to share data and information with the Department of Defense and other agencies through a robust access control system to protect sensitive data and ensure the responsible sharing and safeguarding of classified information. Work will be performed at Herndon, Virginia, and is expected to be complete by May 25, 2019. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition with four offers received. Fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $3,072,000 are being obligated at the time of award.
