Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training, Moorestown, New Jersey, is being awarded an $112,741,068 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-14-C-5106) for fiscal 2016 AEGIS Modernization (AMOD) production requirements. This procurement covers the production of multi-mission signal processor equipment sets; ballistic missile defense 4.0.2 equipment; AEGIS weapon system AMOD upgrade equipment; and associated spares to support the fielding of AMOD capabilities to the fleet. Work will be performed in Moorestown, New Jersey (59.5 percent); Clearwater, Florida (40 percent); and Owego, New York (0.5 percent), and is expected to be completed by November 2018. Fiscal 2015 and 2016 defense-wide procurement; fiscal 2014 and 2016 other procurement (Navy); fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation; and fiscal 2012 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funding in the amount of $112,741,068 will be obligated at the time of award, and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.
