The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded $9,967,496 for cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order 4500 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-16-G-0001) for systems engineering, and logistic support planning required for production acceptance test and evaluation of the DSU-42/B Precision Laser Guidance Set, with the KMU-558 series guidance set as a GBU-56(V) 4/B. This effort includes the integration of the GBU-56(V) 4/B into the F/A-18 weapons platform. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri (86.94 percent); Fort Worth, Texas (3 percent); Simpsonville, South Carolina (.03 percent); Minneapolis, Minnesota (.03 percent), and various other locations within the continental U.S. (10 percent), and is expected to be completed in February 2019. Fiscal 2016 ammunition procurement (Navy, Marine Corps) funds in the amount of $9,967,496 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
