BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration, Inc., Communication, Navigation, Identification and Reconnaissance Div., Greenlawn, N.Y., is being awarded a $21,584,642 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00019-05-D-0027) to exercise an option for the procurement of 419 AN/APX-118(V) Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) digital transponders for the U.S. Army (301), U.S. Navy (67), U.S. Coast Guard (12) and the Governments of Saudi Arabia (12) and the Netherlands (27). In addition, this modification provides for the procurement of 213 C-12664/APX-RCU remote control units for the U.S. Army (211) and U.S. Navy (2); 107 MT-7221/APX-MT Mounts for the U.S. Navy (56) and U.S. Coast Guard (12) and for the Governments of Saudi Arabia (12) and the Netherlands (27) ; 128 AN/APX-123 transponders for the U.S. Navy; 18 two-year AN/APX-123 warranties for the U.S. Navy; 34 RT-1912(c)/APX-123 Mode 5 Kits for the U.S. Navy and 12 C-12720 Mode 5 Capable remote control units for the U.S. Navy. Work will be performed in Greenlawn, N.Y., and is expected to be completed in September 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy ($8,790,332; 40.7 percent), U.S. Army ($11,172,663; 51.8 percent), U.S. Coast Guard ($381,564; 1.8 percent), and the Governments of Saudi Arabia ($381,564, 1.8 percent) and the Netherlands ($858,519; 3.9 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
