Boeing Defense and Space Group, Electronic Systems Center, Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a $328,027,612 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract for integration of E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) capability into two Boeing 767 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed July 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract is in support of a Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to Japan. The Government of Japan will furnish the two Boeing 767 aircraft for the integration. The Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (F19628-94-C-0004, P00004).
