McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis is being awarded a $33,664,237 cost-plus award-fee contract modification to develop, integrate and test a selective availability anti-spoofing module- based global positioning satellite receiver bringing the Joint Direct Attack Munition into compliance with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff directive. Additionally, this effort will add a "low cost anti-jam antenna" to the Joint Direct Attack Munition tailkit. McDonnell Douglas will perform this effort at McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Charles County, Mo., (59 percent); and Rockwell Collins Government System, Cedar Rapid, Ind.,. At this time, $16,500,000 of the funds has been obligated. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This work will be completed by March 2005. The negotiations were completed in February 2003. The Headquarters Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08635-03-C-0004).
