Raytheon Co., of El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $43,040,024 firm-fixed-price contract for continued life-cycle contractor support (L-CCS) to sustain U.S. Army, Air Force, and Marine Corps Forward Looking Infrared Radar Systems and subsystems for a total of five years (base period, plus four, one-year options). The solicitation was issued on Oct. 22, 2002 with one offer received. Operational Maintenance Defense funds under fiscal year 2003 will be utilized for this contract and subsequent year funds will be utilized for options and option years, if exercised. The U.S. Special Operations Command is the contracting activity (USZA95-03-C-0004).
